Meet Our Founder
Angela Gibson, MA.Ed
Angela Gibson is the founder of Chicago Urban Ignite (CUI) and has spent over 16 years working with youth and adults in alternative education and workforce development. With dual master’s degrees in School Leadership and Teacher Leadership, and as a licensed school leader and CPR instructor, she’s passionate about creating programs that bring real opportunities to communities affected by violence and limited access to resources. Through CUI, Angela helps replace the impact of trauma with the excitement of learning and the tools for a brighter future.
