Meet Our Founder
Angela Gibson, M.A. Ed
Angela Gibson is the founder of Chicago Urban Ignite (CUI), an educator, consultant, and workforce development leader with more than 17 years of experience helping youth, adults, schools, and nonprofit organizations achieve meaningful results. Holding dual master’s degrees in School Leadership and Teacher Leadership, she specializes in program design, curriculum development, literacy programming, workforce development, and community engagement.
Angela partners with nonprofits, schools, and community organizations to develop high-impact programs, secure funding opportunities, strengthen outcome tracking systems, and support successful implementation. She also helps organizations build strategic partnerships and outreach efforts that expand resources and deepen community impact.
Driven by a passion for equity and opportunity, Angela works to transform innovative ideas into sustainable programs that empower individuals, strengthen communities, and create lasting change.
